I had just passed by under one of the HDB block at Ubi and saw this left by cat lover.

I am not against any stray cats or dogs but don’t you think that a whole piece of fish for the cat was so a sumptuous meal for them while there are human who don’t even get to eat fish or meat.

Maybe Singaporean treat animals better than mankind?

On 1 August 2017 at about 10.50am, the Police were alerted to a case of armed robbery at a Western Union branch located at Blk 301 Ubi Ave 1.

The man who was armed with a knife, forced a staff to hand over more than $2,000(Chinese dailies reported it $3000). The man then fled on foot. The staff was not injured and no other person was inside the branch at the time of the incident.

The man was wearing a white helmet, black jacket and dark-coloured long pants.

The man was caught and brought back to the scene of the crime.

I made a grab family booking on 29th April. The driver charged me additional $2 bucks. I called in the hotline to check. Today Grab CSO told me that the driver disputed that I have 2 kids when I only had one.

Thus they will not refund the $2. And told me to go report police.

Brief details.
I booked a grabfamily trip from my home address to Keat Hong Quad on the date and time above. I was going to the destination with 3 passenger: Me My wife-to-be and her 2 year old child.

Vehicle SLR5696Y with Driver name: Kok Kian Huat was assigned to pick me to my destination for $10. Payment method was grabpay. After alighting at the destination, I checked my Grab application and I was charged $12. I called into Grab hotline to check the additional $2 extra charge.

Today, 4th May 2018, I received a call from Grab hotline that, the driver has disputed that the I am carrying 2 children during the trip. Thus Grab will not be refund the overcharged money back to my account. The CSO gave me an option to make a police report.

I like to make a police report of a fraud case by the driver: Kok Kian Huat off cheating passenger money.
The place I stay happens to be a condo which have security cameras that will be able to prove that I have one kid who board the vehicle with me.

Be careful. Do not update, it’s a scam.

This old uncle trying to con me. From power house to seng kang. This amount $32.95, is only (half way only), he think that I’m drunk. Go one big round. I call police. He don’t admit his mistake and say ,pay him $23 will do. .this is not about money $$$$$$.

After that police came. I told them what happen.

I ask them to take taxi from power house to seng kang. How can it be so much??? The taxi driver was speech less..he say sorry to me. And I say pls try to be honest at all time. And is not I cannot afford to pay this taxi fare. Pls be be aware of him. I not trying to make his rice bowl drop. But it really too much.

A maid was caught on CCTV abusing a toddler by hitting her with a broom and slamming her head on the table.All this, while the girl was sitting in the living room and doing what looks to be her homework.

And from the footage records, the beatings have been going on almost every day this month!44-year-old Madam Nguyen said that she first got suspicious that her maid was hitting her kids (2 girls aged 5 and 6) two weeks ago, when one of the girls spotted a bruise on her forehead.

She asked her maid, a 27-year-old Burmese national, about the bruise and her maid told her that the girl had taken a fall while riding a bicycle.
Then, she checked the CCTV footage and discovered the daily beatings.The maid was seen hitting her children with objects like a spoon, remote control and toothpick holder.Mdm Nguyen runs a night market stall with her 63-year-old husband, and the couple work daily from 4pm to 2am.That’s when she leaves her children alone with her maid.

The CCTV stores recordings for 30 days only, and Mdm Nguyen shudders to think what she would find if she reviewed footage from the past 3 months.She says she has since returned her maid to the maid agency.
