According to a media release by the ICA, Over 10,000 cartons found after conducting security checks yesterday. The amount of contraband cigarette found is equivalent to more than 100,000 packets. The contraband cigarettes were found on two Malaysian trucks at Tuas Checkpoint on 24 October 2019

A Malaysian dietitian posted a post warning fans of the candy should only consume it in moderation. Unlike traditional candy, this candy contains a higher amount of sodium content compared to regular or traditional candies.

Kidney problems
As the candy has a high sodium content experts warned of how it can contribute to additional sodium to our diet. Asian diets and fast food are already high in sodium content. We do not need additional sodium intake from a sports candy.
Too much sodium can also result in kidney stones. The process to remove is painful. Trust me!
How much sodium is too much?
A serving of Himalaya Salt candy contains 19.7mg of sodium. To have a rough idea of how much sodium is required. Health experts recommend a diet of not more than 2000mg of sodium a day.
An average chicken rice meal is already 724mg of sodium according to fitness. It is easy to exceed the 2000mg limit a day with our regular meals.
Of course, the candy is safe. We just need to take it under moderation.

On one of the raids that were conducted between the 21st of October to 25 of October, CNB found a packet of Cannabis-infused chocolate and a pack of strawberry candies that contain cannabis as well.

This morning we witnessed a cat getting attacked by 3 stray dogs.
It was around 6am i think? Omg. Thank god my hubz and i threw scotch tape to chase the dogs away. My husband rushed down to confirm that the dogs is not anywhere her and put the cat to the side. (no one was harmed. We took the scotch tape back already)
When we came down to check on the cat 30 mins later, the cat was nowhere to be seen. We suspect that someone took it away already (in hopes).
Last week, Natalie Siow charge for murder was reduce to causing hurt. She broke into tears after realizing that she no longer face the death penalty.
She was given new charges today with behaving in a disorderly manner in a public place and consorting with a person (Tan Sen Yang) carrying weapons.
For behaving in a disorderly manner, anyone found guilty can be charged with a maximum fine of $5000 and a jail of up to one year.
For consorting with a person for carrying offensive weapons in the public, the punishments are typically maximum of 3 years jail & 6 strokes of rotan. But in Natalie case there will be no rotan.
Punishment for voluntarily causing hurt – Maximum 2 years and/or fined of $5000.
She will be in court again next month on the 29th of November 2019. She is currently out on bail for $20,000.

According to media release, 20-year-old Ridhwan Iran cut off his prison tag from his legs and molested a 18 year-old-girl.
On the 21st of July, he cut off his prison tag which was suppose to track his location. He was supposed to stay at home from 8pm to 8am as his is under superverised reformative trainiing.
The next day he followed a 18-year-old girl near Jalan Bukit Merah to the victim’s block. He went into the same lift with the girl and he molested the girl from behind and said “shh” and embraced the girl.
He then proceeded to molest the girl’s breast.
The victim pushed him away. The moment the lift door opens,He ran away. The victim went home in fear and told her parents of what had happened. The police was alerted and he was arrested a few days later.
He will be back in court next month to receive his sentence.
I would like to complain about Dr Sajeev . Let me explain what is happening. On 11 Oct’19 around 8+pm.
My husband went to Fernvale clinic to see doctor as during his work in the afternoon, when he was drilling the ceiling, he accidentally drilled untill his 2nd finger. Clinic refer him to Sengkang hospital, so we went to A&E.
He was ask to go for X-ray and after that, the report out and Senior doctor came to see him and told him that report is ok. Nothing serious but ask to stitch. After that nurse injected 3 injection on his finger to numb his finger before stitch.
Dr Sajeev told Dr Terence to stitch it and after done, Dr Sajeev still came and review,he try to bend my husband finger up n down,he ask if he is ok. So my husband replied yes. It was around 11pm which Dr change shift. Dr Sajeev off duty n call back to hospital and ask to remove the stitch and worry if my husband finger was not properly clean.
My husband called and told me what was happening， I was very angry and went to talk to Dr Jonathan which he is just take over on duty. After that he went to look for Dr Sameera Gauti to come and explain to me. Before Dr Sameera came out, she had called both Dr Sajeev and Dr Terence what was going on.
She did apologize to us and as per her understand，she told me that Dr Sajeev did not ask Dr Terence to stitch and mentioned Dr Terence heard wrongly and apologize for mis communication.
But my husband said not true, after stitch, Dr Sajeev still came and review. Now which Dr is telling lie. Base on our communication. I suspect Dr Sajeev and Dr Sameera are trying to lie and push the blame to junior Dr. Why can this communication breakdown? I dont believe. Can you please investigation and let me know what is happening.
How can this be happen? In my life, I did not ever heard or met that on the same day stitch it and remove it . Did you? May I know how many years experience was he as a doctor?
After remove the stitch, nurse just wrap his hand and when we went to take prescription. There is no dressing or cream etc. Just gave him medicine to eat. Why why why?????

A 23-year-old was arrested yesterday after the police were notified about a fight that occurred at Tanjong Pagar in the wee hours. From the video that was uploaded, there were at least 10 people involved in the fight.
A man was cut on the ear, after the fight.
The 23-year-old man will be charged in court today for his actions.
He is looking at a maximum jail term of life imprisonment or up to 15 years jail time and/or a fined with rotan.
According to a media release, a 34-year-old man Low Yan Long has been fined $5000 after he was caught using a shoe belonging to a woman to pleasure himself.
He pleaded guilty of committing public indecency.
The man claims that he was doing this to relieve stress. He looks for shoes at HDB units because women’s shoes get him “aroused”.
How does he relieve his stress?
By relieving in the shoe and “PCC” into the shoe. After relieving what he had to relieve, he left the shoe and leave the area. However, CCTV caught what he did and soon the police were alerted.
After his arrest, he was on bailed and committed the actions again while he was on bailed at a unit located at Ang Mo Kio.
