NTU STUDENT MOLESTED. DRIVER BROUGHT HER TO CARPARK
“Hi everyone, this is PSA for everyone using Ride Kakis or other non-regulated hitch platforms.
Without going too much into details because the police investigation is still ongoing, I want to share that I was involved in an incident last week where a non-NTU male hitched me via Ride Kakis, brought me to a secluded carpark and molested me.
A police report has been made and the driver has been arrested.
He claims that he was trying to ‘make friends’ but I found out that there is another report made against him on the same matter. So, it sounds like bullshit to me.
For those doubting this is real, don’t. I’m really not trying to stir shit or anything. I just wanna caution everyone, especially with all the sexual harassment cases nowadays. I was initially quite traumatised but I’m fine now and I honestly just want that guy to rot in jail if he is found guilty. I will be writing to the school about the incident, but figured a lot of NTU students read this page so it would be easier and faster to reach out.
Not hating on Ride Kakis because not every driver/rider is a pervert, but I just wanna ask everyone to please be careful. If the person you’re hitching/sharing cab with doesn’t provide his/her contact details, make sure you ask for proper identification before getting into the same car. The thing about Ride Kakis is that anyone can use it and verification is not compulsory. Yes, hitch can make friends but don’t be so foolish to let your guard down.

PMD RIDER SPEEDS AT 70KM/H. MOTORBIKE ALSO CANNOT CHASE
In Hokkien, there is a term called “bo gao yi lai” meaning not as good or not as powerful as that person.
A PMD was spotted overtaking vehicles swinging from lane to lane, overtaking at least 30 vehicles during that 1min 11-second video duration. He is endangering others and endangering himself.

PROPERTY AGENT FINED $30,000 AFTER “UNETHICAL TRANSACTION”
A property agent from PropNex Realty was fined $30,000 and suspended for 12 months after lying to his customer to get himself a higher commission.
Ngu Ping Chuan James Ethan pleaded guilty after committing after breaching CEA code of Ethics and being unprofessional. He attempted to profit from more than he was deserved.
Jame’s had a client that needed him to source for a condominium unit around the price of $900,000.
He brought his client to viewed a unit at around $1.04 million, his client was keened to purchase the unit and the seller was willing to lower the price to $1.02million. James would get a commission of around $10,000 for the sale.
However, James lied to his client that the property was worth around $1.18 million and demanded a higher commission rate.
He then told his client to make an offer of $1.06 million for the unit. Luckily, his client went and check and found out that the unit was only valued only at a maximum of $1 million.
He then lied to his client again saying that the seller made a counteroffer of $1.04 million and his client’s offer to buy it at $950k was rejected.
Thie $1.04 million counter offer did not exist, James lied. The sale went through and the buyer found out from the seller’s agent about the $1.04 million counter that did not exist and in order for the sale to go through James were to receive a 3% commission.
James unethical practiced made his client lost an estimated amount of up to $30,000.
UNCLAIMED CPF OF THOSE WHO PASSED ON – $211 MILLION ACCUMULATED
According to a report by the Strait Times, as of the time it was reported today about $211 million dollars are currently left unclaimed for the past 6 years.
So where is the CPF money? The money is with the Insolvency and Public Trustees Office.
How to avoid this?
Please make a nomination of who will inherit your CPF on this website. The form needs to be filled and submitted to CPF by mail or to any CPF center.
Please note that an appointment is required if you wished to submit in person. We recommend submitting it by mail. No need queue.

Officers will try calling and sending letters to the family members. If call no answer, mail no reply. The money will be kept by the Public Trustees Office.
