Local activist Gilbert Goh took to Facebook to share a message from a woman who reached out to him for help.

The woman said that she was a divorcee with 4 children and that she is unemployed because she has to take care of her children.

She added that her ex husband is also making her life difficult by refusing to agree to the school transfer of her kids and as such, she has to send and fetch them to and fro from Marsiling to Toa Payoh.

She revealed that she has is left with nothing now and is asking for help with daily necessities.

Here is the story:

“Hi Gilbert

Sorry to bother you sir.

I’m a divorcee with 4 children. Currently I’m not working due to the situation that I’m facing.

My ex-husband is also making my life difficult by not agreeing to the school transfer of my kids.

So I have to send them to and fro from Marsiling to Toa Payoh everyday. With the tight finances, I’m trying to survive for the kids school, transportation, food etc. And the kids’ father are not giving their maintenance and I’m still waiting for the next mediation for the maintenance.

If anyone could help to bless us with food ration I would be happy enough. As the kids are growing they tend to eat more. And I am left with nothing now.

I know the kids are my responsibility but with my tight situation I can’t find a full-time job as no one will hire me due to my timing – I need to send and fetch the kids.”

What is dishonest misappropriation of property?

What is “misappropriation of property”(MOP), to put it in simple terms, it means using a person or an organization’s property inappropriately even knowing the fact that it is a behaviour of dishonesty.

Example of MOP

Mr A found a wallet that contains money and the identity of a person, knowing the fact that the wallet does not belong to him he uses the money.

A man died in Singapore after sustaining major injuries when a public transportation vehicle he was on suddenly braked hard at North Bridge Road.

He has been in the hospital and remained unconscious from the date of the accident (September 8).

What happened?

The incident happened just before the bus stop of Bugis Cube, and before the left turn of Liang Seah Street.

The bus jam brake resulting in the injury of the man which eventually lead to his demise.

A woman posted her frustrations online after she had an unfortunate session with her boyfriend when he shouted his sister’s name while they were “having fun”.

Last night was a nightmare for me, I thought I have a loving boyfriend who is the perfect man. Turns out he has some weird hobbies that made me sick to the core.

I was at his house last night and he started disturbing my lower parts to make me feel like doing it. I gave in and it was good, but right before he ended he shouted “Sheryl”.

A netizen encountered a male that is in his 50s along Tanjong Pagar Road.

He claims that the man is going from people top people to ask for money, it is a common cheating method where people go around the street preaching a sob story and ask for money.

In his Facebook post he said:

“Able-bodied Male Chinese 50+years old spotted along Tanjong Pagar Road targeting alone individuals asking for money. Beware”

A customer really a drama, at the first text the boss says she migraine after that traumatised. Really drama mama.
