MOMENTS BEFORE FATAL ACCIDENT WOMAN PUSHES TODDLER AWAY!

An accident happened yesterday along Lentor Avenue towards AMK ave 6 in the morning involving an adult, a child, and a car driver.

A 30-year-old woman was hit by a car while she was pushing a 2-year-old boy on a stroller across the road. According to a media release, moments before she was hit by the car, She pushed the stroller away in an attempt trying to save the 2-year-old boy’s life.

The woman was brought to Khoo Teck Puat unconscious and died from her injuries shortly after. The 2-year-old was brought to KK hospital, it is unclear if the 2-year-old boy suffered from any injuries, but the boy was conscious when he was sent to the hospital by SCDF.

The 44-year-old driver has been arrested by the Police, The police are currently investigating in the incident.

PMD RIDER RIDE ON KERB SINCE FOOTPATH, ROAD, GRASS CANNOT

A man stated that since the announcement of the ban of PMD on footpaths he will find a way. The footpath cannot ride, grass cannot ride & road cannot ride. So ride where? The man said the kerb loh

He said footpaths fine $2000, road $500. Then many people think that grass ok. But turns out grass also cannot. The fine is $5000.

So he demonstrates riding on the kerb.

He later mentioned, “you think i the only one riding on kerb? look at the man across the road.”

TAXI & CAR CRASH NEAR RAFFLES PLACE MRT, CAR KNOCKED OVER

According to a photos submitted by witness on the scene, a Taxi and a car collided near Raffles Place MRT, with the car landed on the side.

With one lane short at the road beside AIA Tower, there was a major traffic delay in the area. According to media reports, the accident happened today morning at around 10 AM.

A security officer was also on the seen to helped with the injured driver. It seems like the air bag from the Taxi was activated after the impact. Tiles from the building has been damaged.

SCDF was on scene to help the drivers, The 62-year-old Taxi driver has been taken to the hospital for treatment. The driver of the car refuse to go to the hospital.

Thankfully both man do not suffer from serious injuries.

BMW CAR USE FAKE CAR PLATE. POLICE CAR CHASE TO ST GEORGE ROAD

According to media release, the Police chase down a white BMW that was using a fake car plate to a car park located at 22 St George Road at around 11.30 AM today (06/11/2019).

The driver crashed through the parking gantry and crashed the vehicle. The suspect later escaped on foot.

In a separate incident that happened on the 20, October 2019. According a Police report, made by a netizen he received parking summons from authorities for his vehicle despite being in Johor Bahru.

A white BMW driver has used his car plate to drive around in Singapore committing numerous traffic and parking offenses.

His statement with the Police:

On the 20 10 2019 at about 8 30am, I opened my letterbox and received a letter from URA stating of a summons(Summons No 968603198H) which was issued to me on the 29 09 2019 at 4.08pm for not displaying parking coupon On the same day at about 4.30pm, I sent and email to appeal to URA on the parking notice that they send me I wish to state that at the time of the offence, I was still in Johor Bahru and that my vehicle was not parked there. A copy of my passport entry back to Singapore was also attached to the said e-mail.

On the 22 10 2019 at 4 05pm URA replied to my email and informed me the details of my summons notice reference no 968603I98H In the same e-mail. they also indicated that I had another outstanding summons notice (Summons No 973103238A) issued to me on 09.10 2019.

Through me URA website appeal section, I made an enquiry on the second offence that was issued to me on 22 10 2019 at 8 05pm.

On the 24 10 2019 at 12 20pm I received a reply from URA requesting for a supporting document to justify on my first offence that was issued to me I then provided to them a photograph of my vehicle registration number, my chassis number my passport copy my cashcard transaction recordNEP) and my vehicle LTA log card for the first offence.

They also provided the details of my second offence which is illegal parking along Dickson Road I then informed them at the time of the second offence as indicated in their record, I was at Serangoon North Avenue 4 Block 523 Carpark(SE23) I wish to state that on that day 09 10 2019 at 7pm, when I was at Serangoon North Avenue 4 carpark, my vehicle could not start due to flat battery I had attached to URA the Paynow transaction that I made to make payment for the battery replacement provided by Han Revolution I left the said car park at about 7 45pm

SINGAPORE FOOD AGENCY ALERTED AFTER ‘WHITE WORMS’ FOUND IN SAUSAGE

A video was uploaded and circulated on Youtube. White worms appear on the Chicken Sausage and the video has reached the Singapore Food Agency.

The sausages appear to be normal until it was soaked in water and white worms began to appear and float on the surface of the water.

According to the commentary in the video, the netizen claims that the sausage were bought from NTUC.

Valley Chef sausages has been a favorite for many families, lets hope that there is nothing serious about the sausage.

The Singapore Food Agency is appealing for more information on the person that uploaded the video and urge to provide all details of the sausage.

The spokesman for Valley Chef said its not worms, and states that this is due to improper storage of the sausage. They also claim that this is a isolated incident.

PETITION STARTED TO ALLOW PMD ON FOOTPATHS AND ROADS

A petition has been started by an individual shortly, after the ban of PMD on footpath started. The petition has gathered over 18,000 signed. The petition argued of the lives of PMD riders affected

Without the use of PMDs, the thousands of delivery riders (Grabfood, food panda, deliveroo etc.) will have their main sources of income cut off. Most of the time, riding a motorbike or bicycle are not viable for them because the distances they cover are too great for bicycles and a vast majority of them do not have a motorbike license nor can shell out to get one.

The petition has been started on change.org and netizens has been quarreling on Facebook and divided the internet users into two groups.

While another group of users are seeking for the usage of the PMD to be permanently banned in Singapore.

The petition has gathered over 74,000 signed after it release fearing that the use of PMD will result in more injuries in Singapore.

ICA UNCOVERED OVER 1000 CARTONS OF CONTRABAND ON BUS

According to ICA media release, ICA officers at Woodlands Checkpoint uncovered over 1000 cartons of contraband cigarettes on a Malaysia Bus on Monday, 4th November 2019.

The cigarettes were hidden in the undercarriage compartment of the bus and wrapped in black plastic bags. It is estimated that the amount of contraband cigarettes that was uncovered by ICA is worth at least $100,000 in taxes.

A 42-year-old Malaysian has been arrested and refereed to Singapore Customs for further investigations.

Checkpoints in Singapore are equipped with X Ray bus scanners, yet smugglers still want to try smuggling cigarettes in Singapore.

DRIVER SENDS MOTORCYCLIST FLYING AFTER FAILING TO GIVE WAY

A rider was send flying after a vehicle fail to give way to the motorbike (Honda phantom) on the other lane.

In the video at around 11 seconds, the driver can already been seen driving recklessly when exiting his lane.

At 0.43 seconds of the video, the driver failed to give way and collided with a motorbike. The incident happened on the 4, November 2019 7.40 AM at around Tuas area.

RIDING PMD ON GRASS CAN BE FINED UP TO $5,000

Many people think that they found a loop hole in the rule that they can ride on the grass instead since footpaths are banned.

Unfortunate, N Parks made a comment on those videos of such riders. The few young teenagers who made the video just recorded the evidence of them breaking the law under the Parks and Trees Act.

Anyone convicted can be fine up to $5,000
