JAPAN: TYPHOON HAGIBIS – 7 DEAD, 15 MISSING

The most devastating typhoon that hit Japan in the past 10 years has caused the death of at least 7 people and 15 are missing. Some other media reports also mentioned that there are 11 deaths, it is chaos in Japan. It will take some time before the total casualties numbers get tally.

There are at least 100 injuries, caused by the natural disaster. 500,000 Homes loses electricity. Government officials have issued an alert all across Japan for people to evacuate. It has been reported that the evacuation order will affect 5.9 million people.

Heavy rains have caused floods on streets and residents in warned to stay away from the flooded streets.

Typhoon destroys the life of people and animals.

Animals were also seen looking for shelter, pigeons hiding, rats running into subway stations. Missing dogs.

Hi everyone, pick up your phone and update and Whatsapp immediately, a new bug has been found in Whatsapp messenging app.

Hackers are able to take control over your phone due to a security vulnerability in Whatsapp.

What happens is hackers are able to force your phone to download an app by just sending a gif image. Once you tab on it, that’s it! Hackers will be able to remotely control your device and access your information.

Yes, this includes your password notes stored on your phone. This information can be sold to scammers in the dark web who will use this information to further develop scams against users.

Please tell everyone you know right away!

HIT AND RUN INCIDENT AT WOODLANDS WATERFRONT PARK

A man is seeking to look for a Hit & Run vehicle. He was cycling across the zebra crossing during the incident.

He indicated in his photo that the incident happened at Woodlands Waterfront Park around 10.30 am to 10.45 am.

Singapore Uncensored asked the victim of the incident and he can only remember a blue color sedan car hitting him at the entrance of the waterfront park.

Anyone with dashcam footage can provide it to the police.

TERMINATED DELIVEROO RIDER CLAIMS DELIVEROO IS FINDING FAULT WITH HIM

A delivery rider working with Deliveroo got terminated and claims that the company is finding fault with him.

In the image provided by him, it did show that he is at Tampines, but The Deliveroo app tells him to go Pasir Ris. (He did mention is riding a bicycle)

Hello everyone , deliveroo customers

Today I have been terminated as an hourly riders as deliveroo are finding trick to terminated us. If you look on the screenshot while I’m at tampines they will throw a few orders for me to unassigned , canceled and they will find fault to me.

when I’m at changi they will throw me same order to pasir ris

sometimes when I’m at pasir ris they told me collect food at changi. pasir ris have itself a zone and full of riders and slots are full taken why can’t they assigned it to them instead to me

if you were customers are you willing to wait for me and accept cold food ?
When I called the customer I told them im a cyclist and they say oh okay I will cancel.

As a rider I will tell you don’t use deliveroo anymore the service are getting worse riders are getting lazy the only way you been receiving food are hourly delivered to you.

M’SIA ADDING 50 MOTORCYCLE COUNTER TO EASE CUSTOM CONGESTION. WILL IT WORK?

According to a media news release, The Malaysia govt is spending RM85 Million to increase the counters at Malaysia customs that leads from Singapore, Both Woodlands and Tuas custom.

The question is will it work?

We can often hear complaints on the internet about multiple custom officers chatting in one booth while the other booths are not opened and empty. From our personal experience, We have never seen all custom counters open in Malaysia. So what’s the point of adding more counter with no one there.

Hiring 50 more custom officers sounds more promising that opening 50 more counters. Well, this is their strategy to combat traffic congestion.

We can only hope it works.

The battle against scammers is always described as a never-ending mouse and cat chase. There are always new scams on the news.

The police are currently investigating 154 people that are related or under the suspicion in scams. Among the suspects, the youngest that is assisting the police with the investigation is only 15-year-old.

According to media reports, at least 230 scam incidents are involved with a total value of $1.3 million.

Most scams target on greed, just like a woman who used company funds to pay a scammer hoping to get something in return but ends up getting arrested.

Those who are found guilty of such charges will face up to 10-year imprisonment and/or fine.

WOMAN ARRESTED – TRANSFER $1.4 MILLION TO SCAMMER USING COMPANY FUNDS

A 42-year-old local woman working in a local company was arrested after using company funds to transfer $1.4 million to someone she met online hoping she will receive a parcel containing valuables and cash.

She then reported it to the police but…

Well, the parcel never came and she reported the incident to the police. After investigations by the police, it has been revealed that this woman was working as an accounts manager and a total of S$1,426,718 of company funds was used.

“I wanted the money to invest further but got conned instead.”

Being greedy?

The woman will be charged to day for crimminal breach of trust. She is liable for jail for a maximum of 15 years and/or fine

MAN FALLS INFRONT OF MOVING CAR. BELIEVED TO BE DRUNK

The end of the year is coming, festivals and holidays of partying are near, but too much alcohol causes accidents. A video has been circulated online of a man that suddenly knocking out on the road in front of a moving car.

Luckily, the driver was alert and stop the vehicle instead of mowing over the person. Bystanders came in and check on the man. According to the video uploaded, the man that fell on the road is believed to be drunk. The incident happened on the 5th of October 2019 at Neil Road.

Neil Road or most people referred to as “drinking at Tanjong Pagar” has many bars and its not a surprise that drunk people can be found in the area. Drivers at the location should always look out for the people walking on the sidewalk.

The way he fall could be fatal. If he knock his head in the wrong position, it could cost his life. Please exercise responsibility for handling alcohol intake.
